Overview
The reason to choose this box over a rigid magnetic box is the same reason it is cheaper: nothing inside it has to be built by hand. The body is one printed sheet, the handle is a cord threaded at the packing bench or by the customer, and the lid closes on its own geometry instead of on a magnet set. Nothing is hand-wrapped, so nothing has to be paid for twice — once in labour and once in the freight of shipping a built box. It travels flat and becomes a box in a few seconds.
The inner lid panel is the feature that earns this structure its place. On an ordinary folding box the inside of the lid is dead space; here it is a defined, flat, printed area that faces the recipient as the box opens — the natural place for a brand story, care instructions, a use-and-storage note or a handwritten message. It is cut in the same die and printed in the same pass as the outside, so it costs a small addition rather than a separate component, and it is the cheapest way to make a light box feel considered.
