Overview
Autumn boxes are bought for food, and food changes the engineering. A box carrying a bake, a jar or a bottle of oil needs a heavier board and, in most cases, a reinforced base or a tray, because the weight is concentrated and the box is often handed over in person rather than couriered in a carton with void fill. The decoration brief is warmer and cheaper than a December one: kraft or rust floods, a debossed wheat or leaf motif, and copper or gold foil read as appreciation rather than as Christmas, and two colours are usually enough. Where the contents are meant to be seen, a window does the work that a printed panel cannot.
Thanksgiving orders sit in an awkward slot in the factory calendar — after the summer and directly in front of the December peak — so the planning window is tighter than the calendar suggests: for a November shelf, artwork should be approved by early July for sea freight, or mid-September if the goods fly. Festive multi-colour decoration is set up per colour and per artwork, so the run starts at 500 pcs per design and the set-up is amortised across it — the more you order, the lower the unit price. If the box is also going to be used as a client gift in December with different artwork, build both on the same size and share the tooling; only the wrap artwork and any die change.

Variants
Uncoated kraft with a wheat or leaf deboss and no colour work at all. The most economical authentic-looking autumn box, and it suits food.
One die, one pass, and the warm-metal contrast does the festive signalling. Foil is priced by stamped area, so keep the mark deliberate.
